Welcome to my new blog!

Hi! Thanks for dropping in 🙂 I started this blog during a very interesting time in history (early 2020). It was great to ponder with all that extra time on my hands, and to get back to things like writing.

The reason I started up again (I’ve had a blog in the past), is because there are a few things I tend to share with friends, and people online over and over again, and it brings me joy. So I figured, why not have a place to bring my thoughts to?

We are a family of 5. Two boys, and a sweet pup whom we love so much. My husband and I met in 2008, and started our family in 2012. We decided to take a leap of faith in 2016, and move from Western Canada to Southern California.

A couple things I’ll l be focusing on here are; our lives without school (we pulled our son out of kindergarten a couple of years ago), and minimalism. These two things I’m so very passionate about, and I hope you find some joy in the little stories of our lives. I’ll share some of our days, how we’re all learning without school, and my minimalistic life at home, and some ‘how to’s.
