Hello my beautiful friends!

We are just DAYS away from official summer.

So what do unschoolers do during the summer? Well, we just keep on doing what we always do :) Live life!

Lately, we've stretched our limbs out here in Los Angeles, things are opening up, and restrictions are loosening- which feels great! As much as I'm an introvert, I still love meeting new people, like my oldest (he's super social).

There's a few things I wanna do with my boys this summer, and I feel way more free than ever! Did I ever mention that we were with a homeschool charter school? We used to have funds from the school to put towards classes, but as my oldest entered into grade 3, things started to shift in our lives. Things became a bit more cumbersome as unschoolers; more tests, more work. I can see why a lot of people opt out of charter schools as unschoolers as they near middle school age.

It was nice while it lasted though! We had an amazing unschooling style teacher, but there's only so much leniency that she could give us. So this coming year, I will be their "teacher". Which I'm really happy about, as my youngest will be falling into the technical age that he needs to be schooling here in CA.

So many adventures ahead!

Do you have any summer plans with the family?
